Controlling a second computer over LAN
Multi-Device Control lets one physical mouse and keyboard seamlessly control a paired computer on the same local network - push the cursor off a configured screen edge to hand control to the other device, the same experience as Mouse Without Borders or Synergy. It runs entirely over a direct, AES-256-GCM encrypted TCP connection between the two machines using a fixed port and a pre-shared Security Key - there is no cloud relay and no internet dependency.
Panic hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+Esc instantly forces local input control back regardless of session state. An automatic watchdog also restores local input if a hand-off stops flowing data for more than 8 seconds.
Pairing two devices
Open Multi-Device Control on both machines - each shows its own LAN IP address and computer name with a one-tap copy button. Enter the Security Key (masked by default, with a show/hide toggle) on the controlling device to pair, then allow the app through your firewall when prompted.
