1. Parameterized Recipes & Workspaces
Save commands with dynamic {{variable}} placeholders substituted at runtime. Organize recipes into logical workspace collections (e.g., Frontend Ops, K8s Staging, Database Utilities).
2. Built-in Command Library & Explore Packs
CmdVault comes pre-loaded with a curated catalog of standard Docker, Git, and Kubernetes commands—complete with platform support notes, sample outputs, and common pitfalls. You can duplicate any library recipe into your own workspace to customize it.
Explore Packs allow you to install technology-specific recipe bundles (e.g., Next.js, Rust, DevOps). CmdVault automatically scans project directories for lockfiles and .git roots to recommend relevant packs.
3. Embedded PTY Terminal & Command Palette
Executing a recipe streams output live into an embedded PTY terminal panel running your native system shell. Toggle the terminal anytime using Ctrl+Shift+`.
Press Ctrl+K to launch the global Command Palette, allowing you to search and trigger any recipe in under a second.
4. Execution History & Workflow Builder
Every run is logged in your execution history with exit codes, execution duration, and captured stdout/stderr. With the Workflow Builder, you can chain multiple commands into automated sequential pipelines that stop automatically if any step returns a non-zero exit code.
